Regular Season Round 12: KoGas - Anyang 83-80

Sixth-rankedAnyang (5-7) made lots of trouble for third ranked KoGas (9-4) in Inchon on Sunday. KoGas managed to secure only three-point victory 83-80 . However their fans expected easier game. The best player for the winners was Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who had a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. Senegalese center Youssou Ndoye (213-1991, college: St.Bonaventure) chipped in 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. KoGas' coach Yoo Hoon used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Haitian center Cady Lalanne (208-1992, college: UMass) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 7 blocks and the former international point guard Jihoon Park (184-1995) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. KoGas moved-up to second place, which they share with Mobis Phoebus. Anyang at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost.
